Sunshine!

Sunshine is our friend and we welcome him with wide open arms!! Although we don't get out as long as I would like to because of naps, its still good to go out and enjoy!!

The sun was shining in the backyard today so we finally made it out!!! Woohoo all the Henry girls were more then happy to get out of the house and into the clean beautiful fresh air. Happy days are here again. Jennifer is really getting the walking thing down, she is really going for it all the time now!!! We even went and got her some new summer shoes so she can walk while we are outside. Life is good and I am glad summer is on the way!!!!

Today was a good day with the girls, we at least made the attempt to go outside, but it was soooo cold. Grace wanted to stay out longer, but Jenn was not happy so we came in. The basement is coming along beautifully and that means less stress is on the way....hopefully anyway!! As for me, I am just anxious to get outside so I can run around and softball is starting soon, so momma will get some happy "me time" here shortly.

Does spring even really exist??

Well once again I had every intention of taking the girls outside, but with Michigan weather its totally unpredictable. So we had a very adventurous morning and then a fairly laid back afternoon. We went to daddy's work for breakfast, meijer for some fruit and to get Grace a new bath towel, and then we stopped by Grandma Jacqui's house to say hello and help with some camera issues. I am totally anxious for this basement remodel to be done and over because it is totally causing my stress level to sky rocket! This is where spring will be welcome so I can get a break and go outside into some fresh air and be a happy mommy once again.

Today was a fairly uneventful day, I really want to take the girls outside, but the weather is just still a bit to cold, especially for Jenn. Ryan completed the tile work in the bathroom and kitchen for the basement today!!! WOOO Tomorrow we will be cleaning the basement of drywall dust and garbage so that we can start trimming, painting, and grouting the tile. This basement might really be done by the girls birthday party!!! Maybe we will have warmer weather tomorrow too :)

Ryan's Birthday

Today is Ryan's 29th birthday. He spent pretty much the whole day in the basement working on the tile flooring in the kitchen area and bathroom. Bless his heart for wanting to get it done, but he needs to take a day off. Oh well, the girls and I had fun playing and yelling into the basement "Happy Birthday" about every 30 minutes or so :) Tonight he invited a few people over, as did I to have a cook out and enjoy the evening. Here's to a wonderful birthday!!

I feel like I have a new breath within me today!! I got a great new camera, with blessings from my husband of course, and I feel like I have air in my lungs again. I want to be able to be creative and having a camera stuck to my face makes me happy!! The girls are loving it too, they get to have mommy take their pictures and they are just hamming it up. I have crafting going too but that I have to be able to do alone with no kids hanging on me, so that gets done while the girls sleep, but the camera, I can use with the girls and I LOVE it!

Well this is my first official blog. I have never done this before, but I thought it would be a great way for my family to be updated on our family. I love being a stay at home mom, I love watching my two beautiful girls grow and learn and every day is something new and exciting! I can't wait for what the future holds!
