5th Member of our family

Prepping for surgery!

He is resting from his surgery!

So the other day I came to the realization that we have a fifth member to our family. Yes, I know this is going to sound crazy, but it is totally true!!! Bear Bear is our fifth member!! Bear Bear, in case you don't know, is Jennifer's bear that she got for her first Christmas present, and I don't think she has ever put him down since she got him. See, her bedroom theme is all bears, so I wanted to continue that idea into her first Christmas gift, well now almost a year later, that Bear is pretty much attached to her.
The other morning Jenn was running around the house yelling Uh-Oh, Uh-Oh, Uh-Oh, so I check to see why she is freaking out, and I notice that Bear Bear has lost his red bow. Oh, Lord I thought she was going to pass out because I had to take him from her and perform emergency surgery. Luckily Daddy was home to help hug Jenni while I stuck a giant needle into Bear Bear to reattach the bow onto Bear Bear's neck.
It amazes me that she has had this bear for almost a year now and I never even thought about how she loves this thing, he is sooooo dirty and desperately needs a bath, which she has tried to take him into the bath tub with her, but how do I take him away from her to wash him without dealing with the end of the world coming :) He goes everywhere with us, the store, to a visit at Grandmas house and I have even put him in pictures with her. If she does not have him to sleep for naps or at bedtime, LORD I do NOT want to even have to think about that one!!!! Sometimes we have had to have search parties to find where he was hiding, those were close times I tell you!
If he makes her happy, that I am happy to call him part of our family!!

5 years!

So normally I would write about the week that we just entailed, but today I am going to write about where my family came from and started!! Today is our five year wedding anniversary where the whole thing started! It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October and I said I do to my new husband. We met five years before walking down the aisle at a bowling alley, yes a real bowling alley, oh it gets better! He then "won" me on a bet! He bet his friend that if he got 3 strikes in a row, he would not go home alone that night. Well, he got his three strikes in a row, but rest assured he totally went home alone that night!!!!! For everything that he does for me and our girls, Thanks is never enough. He is strong in every sense of the word and yet he knows how to love unconditionally and be a dad and a friend to the girls and play tea party :)
I remember everything about our wedding day, the way he smelled and the way I never felt more beautiful, I remember our first kiss and our first dance and floating on the floor. I remember feeling alive and so in love and knowing that I married a man to support me not compete against me. I married an amazing man, and I am a lucky girl!!!

All about Grace

Our art project

Playing Restaurant

Showing daddy, how she plays and learns letters at school

Connecting different shapes to make a picture while at school

Her 'Ultimate' favorite toy at Preschool!!!! The microscope to look at bugs!

The apple dessert she made.....sooooooooo good!!!!

This week was all about my Gracie! First we had and art project to do this week, then she made an amazing apple dessert. We went to her Preschool on "Parent Night" where she got to show us all around her classroom and what she likes to do while she is there. We got to listen to her sing a song with her classmates, that was awesome! Then today after school we came home and we played 'restaurant', where she was my waitress and took my order on her notepad and even wore one of my old aprons from when I was a waitress in High School. She loved every minute of play time and art time and dinner time, I loved it more though :) On a side note Grace turned 3 1/2 on Thursday October 14th, and she told everybody she could about it!!!!

It has been far to long since I have posted on here! I realize that I must make it more of a priority now that Grace is a PreSchooler, and Jenn is growing sooooooo fast I can't stand it. Ryan is working a lot and I am doing a lot of researching and learning about my Photo stuff. Life needs to slow down and I know its only going to get fast and go by in a snap, so I need to write my life down once a week so I will remember what happened and when with fresh eyes and fresh perspective! I hope I can keep up :)
